a few years ago, when I decided, on a whim, to create a grand 2-tier buttercream “masterpiece” for my best friend’s 30th birthday

It all started

I was completely clueless, so the cake design turned out more like a buttercream blunder than a masterpiece.

But hey - that moment marked the beginning of my obsession with cakes and design! I straight away got to the task of perfecting my design skills.

In what felt like a blink of an eye, I started making friends in the cake decorating community. I started going to events and was invited to demonstrate and teach cake decorating techniques.

But as I did, I noticed how many cake decorators struggled with the design process. Despite mastering the technical skills, they needed the guesswork taken out of cake design and classes alone weren't making the cut.

Now I teach cake design principles and techniques so that decorators can create stunning, well-balanced cakes with confidence.
